FIRST AID IN NATURE
Prompt remedy for insect and jellyfish stings and after the contact with stinging nettles. The encounter with nature’s stinging organisms can be a very unpleasant experience. Stingcard was designed specially to limit and relieve such pain. Stingcard was developed in cooperation with scientists, biologists and medical experts in poisonous bites and stings. WASPS, MOSQUITOES, MIDGES, HORSEFLIES, ANTS AND SANDFLIES:
Rinse the affected area with the moist vinegar-containing tissue, then apply soothing Aloe Vera gel (fig. 1 + 3). BEE STINGS:
The bee’s stinger and its poison bag will remain in the skin and keep spreading its poison. Remove the stinger using the slit in the card; do not squeeze the poison bag! Rinse carefully with the moist tissue and finally apply soothing Aloe Vera gel (fig. 4 + 1 + 3) Finally, you can squeeze out the poison by pressing the slit against the sting wound. JELLYFISH:
Leave the tissue with vinegar on the affected skin for 30 seconds. Do not rub! Afterwards, remove any tentacle remains with the edge of the card; move the card in one direction only. Apply soothing Aloe Vera gel (fig. 1 + 2 + 3). STINGING NETTLES:
Remove the silicious hair remnants with the edge of the card; rinse with the moist tissue and apply soothing Aloe Vera gel. SUNBURN:
Place the tissue on the affected skin and leave it there till the stinging ceases; then apply soothing Aloe Vera (fig. 1 + 3). You can also remove thorns and insect remnants with the card slit. NOTE:
In the event of allergic reactions or unconsciousness, resuscitation and artificial respiration may be necessary. Seek immediate medical advice. |
